Recurring Appointments

This guide outlines the benefits of using the Recurring Appointments feature. It allows customers to easily book multiple days for their appointments, saving time and effort. The feature offers flexibility in scheduling, integrates with Google Calendar, and supports various types of recurring appointments. Whether you offer weekly classes or need to schedule appointments on specific days of the month, this guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to set up and manage recurring appointments.

Setup Recurring Appointments

  • Navigate to the ‘Services’ menu and select the ‘pencil icon’ beside the service you would like to enable recurring appointments.

1. Activate ‘Recurring‘ option.

2. Set the ‘Repeat‘ to your desired business needs. Options include Monthly, Weekly, and Daily.

3. ‘Fixed full period‘ and ‘Fixed frequency‘ are optional and can be adjusted to best fit your service requirements.

4. Choose the ‘Payment‘ option that best fits your needs.

The ‘Fixed full period’ option requires the customer to book the number of appointments per month, week, day, or time(s) that you specify for the service. For instance, if you set ‘Fixed full period’ to 2 and choose ‘week’, the system will require the customer to book 2 recurring appointments: one for the current week and another for the following week. If a higher number is chosen, the appointments will continue to extend week by week, and so forth.

The ‘Fixed frequency’ option requires the customer to book a specific number of appointments within a chosen repeat interval such as a week, month, or day. For example, if you set ‘Fixed frequency’ to 3 and choose ‘week’, the system will require the customer to book 3 appointments within that week. If a higher number is chosen, the number of appointments to be booked within the chosen interval will increase accordingly.

Weekly Recurring Example

1. We activated ‘Recurring‘ and selected ‘Weekly‘ for ‘Repeat‘.

2. ‘Fixed full period‘ and ‘Fixed frequency‘ we left disabled because we want the customer to choose based on their needs.

3. ‘Payment‘ was left as ‘The customer pays separately for each appointment‘.
